It is a recliner style, there is no leg rest.
Though they are slimline seats, I find them quite well padded and have no problem spending a long flight in them. The comfort in the seat itself is maybe not that much better than other seats, but the pitch and the fact that it is 2-4-2 on the 787 and 3-3-3 on the 777 makes them a clear winner compared to many airlines.
