I was there a few weeks ago. Both LH WorldShops are landside, outside security. In my post above (#4) I added a link to a discussion re: best deals that looks pretty comprehensive.

You can check anything LHWS sells in the original packaging if that’s what you want to do. Also, if you establish an account, LHWS can order certain items that will be there for you when you arrive - the logos tell you which items can be picked up in FRA.
