Great idea. I would love to fly with a buddy from the Bay Area sometime. What I've been doing is just making friends with my seatmates along the way. Each flight is a new experience. I bring little bottles of booze to offer during the drink service as a way of making conversation. Works like a charm, even with non-drinkers.
