sfo/OGG: ual award F vs HA paid F

Hi all

Plotting family feb 2016 trip for sfo/OGG which I thought was nonstop only on ual! How is F on the HA nonstop compared to ual F? I can't yet "see" feb 2016 fares/schedule but i assume it's similar to feb 2015.

I've flown ual F in 2011-2013 for this route.

What is better value and logic for us (3 pax) - per pax using 180,000 ual miles (standard F award) or paying about $1200 (?) on HA? I rarely fly these days but I continue to earn ual miles with Chase. My flying is now only paid P (discounted F) on any airline. I would prefer to use the miles (ie save cash to use for condo lodging) since miles seem to be easier to earn & save compared to dollars.
