I don't know who in their right mind MS Delta miles with CCs... If anyone should be worried about over saturation, it should be AA / Citi and UA / Chase.

The only individuals who apply for the Delta cards are those who want the benefits (free checked bags, priority boarding), but I can almost assure you a very small minority MS their credit cards for the miles.
