Miles and more is not Miles and more

Interesting experience today at OSL.

I had a flight booked with the new SN. See the footnote at the bottom for an impression of the trip.

As I am Senator with Miles and More and as SN uses Miles and More as its frequent flyer program, I assumed that I had access to fast track security. Until my boarding pass was scanned there: refused.

According to the security guard only the Miles and More Senators who have their card with Lufty itself are granted access to fast track. As my ticket was on SN stock, apparently the guard automatically assumed that my card was a SN SEN and therefore refused me entry. By showing my Lufthansa Sen card I was granted access anyway.

In my simple world Miles and More is one FQTV program used by several airlines. Apparently I was wrong and apparently it makes a difference which airline issued your M&M card. Or is my assumption correct and is security as OSL being misinformed here?

Do more people have experience with this and do people know more about this?

Thanks for sharing information.

Footnote about the trip. SN is now officially below the level of SK. They issue a large share of tickets without hold luggage included, only have buy on board (where at least a cup of coffee is still free with SK) and have a few classes on board which sound even more ridiculous than what SK has named theirs. The curtain is gone (no more private business class or dedicated business class lavatory) and the only difference between the classes can be found by the color of the headrest and a small cardboard divider. This flight was a reminder of why I didn't like SN and it's even become worse now...

The good news is that the airline is trilingual, which means that an FA almost has to talk you through the flight. and barely has enough time for safety instructions or instructions after landing...
