They don't. But when MS and CCC figure out they just accumulated 1M in SkyDongs they can't redeem, they will be vanquished.
If blame is to be assigned, it is with the airlines, not the MS/CCC crowd. They are just doing what they need to get miles.
If you spend 10 minutes on the MS forum, and realize people are manufacturing 1M miles per year or more, the logical conclusion is your SkyDongs must devalue sharply.
