Nonrefundable ticket change - AA metal?
I did some quick searching on this forum but unable to find the answer to what I think is a relatively straight forward question.

I have a BA ticket for a trip I had to cancel; so the ticket is currently open with the original flights removed, pending my re-booking to use the fare (less the change fee).

The question: Can the net fare (in my case about $1100) be used for a booking that includes AA metal over the pond. For example ORD-LHR-ARN with the ORD-LHR being either (1) BA code share operated by AA or (2) AA flight number operated by AA?
