We were with our 4 year old and had no problems at Ostra. We went on the earlier side. You could ask the waiter to order food from the room service menu, since they don't have a children's menu. They will deliver it to the restaurant. In fact you could do that as Chao as well. Do go to Chao on tuesday and/or saturday for live music.

It was 95 every day we were there. It was hot, with a slight breeze. I wouldn't say miserable. Maybe because of the very cold winter we are having in NY, we didn't mind the heat. No problems with mosquitos. There were a few around, but nothing major.
