Personal preference being what it is, I find the new seat to be poor from a comfort point of view, and would take the old one every single time. As mentioned a few posts earlier, the contouring of the seat is wrong and try as I might I cannot get seated comfortably in it.

For now I can hope that I get an unrefurbished aircraft but the probability of doing so is diminishing all the time.

It's the seat itself that is the problem, not the legroom.
