Aeroplan once told me a 319 was exactly 120/120, so if I cancelled my booking, I'd be able to do another IKK booking.

They were right

Now, I don't know if they'd tell you that about random flights, but you never know

If you're SE, you can easily tell if a flight is at least sold out in Y based on whether you can IKK.
