The big problem is there aren't any cheap UA fares for SEA-BDL (i.e. no "Southwest effect" at the moment). [AA/CO/DL/HP/NW/US have $198(off-peak)/$258(peak) base fares. UA is not matching; their lowest base fares for November travel are $342/$402.]

$406 including all taxes. Fare basis MULTI WXE14NCV (SEA-BDL) + TP14A1N1 (BDL-ORD) + T14PNQ5W (ORD-SEA). This is a web fare, and must be purchased online through United's web site.

7514 status miles (5.4¢/status mile). With a 25% Premier bonus and 500-mile online booking bonus, 4.1¢/mile. Yuck!

tom911: PDX-SFO is 550 miles, so SEA-PDX-SFO would be 1050.
