I've been 'playing' with this request for a while. I've come to the conclusion that you'll be hard pressed to pull this off (I guess that's why they call it a record).

Broadly a Jumbo jet goes approximately 500mph depending on the direction. You're looking to go better than 22K miles in 44hrs...the math just doesn't work. In order to pull it off I think the Concorde would need to be involved. That saidn, I wasn't able to pull off anything with a close connection using this equipment. In addition LHR, JFK and CDG aren't the easiest places in the world to connect.

Adding to that the 'requirement' that it all be on the *A makes it in my view just about impossible.


I'm courious...what was the routing that the record holder used?
