If modernity of the rooms is important to you, then don’t stay at the LMKK. The strength of the hotel is the location with markets, restaurants, convenience stores, bars etc at your doorstep.
Bear in mind that the Shangri-La is away from the hustle and bustle, so depending on what you’re looking for can feel a bit secluded – i.e. you won’t be able to walk out to the nearby markets.
