While I would agree with Acela on the NYP-WAS run, it's not really the case on NYP-BOS. Midtown Manhattan to downtown DC is likely faster on the train. Not so up to BOS.

Price being equal, I would grab whichever one best meets your schedule. Between them, there is one every 30 mins.
