In my experience, most of the airline websites are only able to take up to 8 segments on a simple return. Sometimes you have to click on the "advanced options" or "multi-city" icon to get that. If the fare bassis allows that many connections, you can get 10 onto one file, but that usually can only be done over the phone directly with the airline and so you'd lose any online booking bonuses. I try to stay away from Expedia or the others as they seldom give me what I want and sometimes I get conflicting info on fare rules, FF mile earning info, etc from what the actual operating airline is telling me. I'd rather deal direct with the airline because if there's a mistake, there's no third party to blame. Hope this helps and good luck with future MR's.
