You should be fine. I took sealed duty free bags through TPE last week. There is a security check but they don't confiscate liquids sealed by duty free in other airports.

The whole point of those sealed bags is so you can take duty free through to your final destination. Seems it's only a minority of airports (US only maybe?) where security don't respect this.

FYI I've taken bottles through TPE, HKG, FRA, PVG and PEK with no issues. At PVG & PEK you have to clear immigration as well as security (a bit like how it works in the US), but security nevertheless have always been fine with sealed duty free bags.

That said, TPE single malt prices/selection are excellent, so if whisky is what you're after you could pick up there. But other than whisky TPE doesn't sell much.
