I understand the "why." I don't agree with the need for it or the justification for it, but I understand why it happens. I don't agree or with racism, but I know why it happens. I don't agree with a lot of things, but yes, I understand why they happen.
You simply cannot, from a moral or ethical standpoint, justify an eight-figure salary for a CEO to me. But I understand why they exist...doesn't mean I agree with it.
My job as a photographer puts me in many corners of the earth and I've seen everything from obscene wealth to extreme poverty. It has impacted the way I feel about these things, for sure.
