Sorry. Can't agree. If you want to say that CEOs often don't perform, you're entitled to make that argument. You could be right.
But this has nothing to do with morals. If I apply for a job, any job, any where, any time, any place and the boss and I come to an agreement as to how much I will be paid and I do the work and he pays me that money, that **IS** moral. Completely moral.
On the other hand if I do that then find out that someone else makes more than me, even a lot more than me, then me being envious complaining, whining about how it's not fair, that is **IMMORAL**. Completely immoral.
While the whole "Income Equality" argument sounds moral on the surface, the concept has proven to a) be unworkable, b) lead to corruption, and c) create more pain, poverty, hunger, death and desperation than any war or disease in the history of the planet.
That's my definition of "immoral".
