No, you have humanity. United Airlines is absolutely not unique in this. In fact, this thread not even aviation-specific. The local news talked about this problem earlier this week - people are bringing their dogs, cats, snakes, chcickens, etc to all sort of places where they normally wouldn't be allowed because of the unabashed abuse of these rules.
