A vote would be a good idea. Meanwhile, I'll lobby for my position.
I support having one thread where people can post current information about a Fast Dash or flash sale, and
only that information. It would allow FTers to set up an instant email notification for when that specific thread is updated about a sale. Of course, as
Seat 2A pointed out, that would only work if people are smart enough to only post on that thread when a sale goes live or is active ...
Starting a new thread each time does not make sense to me because so many sales are time limited. As it stands, you can set up a daily or a weekly email notification if a forum is updated with a new thread. By the time most folks would find out there's a flash or Fast Dash sale via that method, the sale would be over.
And if there was a way to set up an instant email notification each time a new thread was added to the forum we'd all be inundated with junk mail. As it is, each morning I have dozens of FT emails to sift through.
