Dear FT friends,

I've put together (what I think is) a solid vacation itinerary for Dec15/Jan16. I am planning 10-14 days.

This is what I have so far starting in BOS:

- Fly to Vietnam, either SGN or HAN for 2-3 nights
- Fly to Siem Reap for 3-4 nights
- Beach for 3-5 nights????
- Large gateway city for 1-2 nights, then home to BOS

I like to mix in at least one large city (SGN or HAN), a cultural site (REP), and then a beach spot (TBD). This is where I need help!

I have been looking at Koh Kood/Kut, but it takes too much effort to get to from REP. I would consider anywhere else in Thailand, Vietnam, or Cambodia.

I went to Thailand a few years ago and fly into Phuket, then drove to Khao Lak - LOVED it.

So, now I am stuck, and really need help finding a beach/resort like area. Ideally, one that is not over run with tourist, BUT, if there is a nice spot worthwhile with great food and beaches, I would go.
