What is your plan for getting from PHL back to NYC area at the end of your trip? For my honeymoon we were in a similar situation- flew out of BWI and then back into Dulles. It turned out it was much cheaper to rent a car and drive than any other option.
Isla Mujeres is still the same. As for our flights. Live in Philly but have family in NY. Will see them before we leave for Cancun and then will fly back into PHL for the return. Take Amtrak to NYC and then have a family member drive us to JFK.
