I think I finally cracked. What bugs me is the seat back: it's too upright. If you compare it with, say, BA's Recaros on the 77W the new short haul seat is way too upright, to the point of being painful.

However, if you recline it just for one degree it gets a lot better. I did a couple of flights after having found out that and I slept soundly on both of them, aided by the brilliant mood lightning; when they put the orange lights on they might as well give me a blanket and a pillow (and earphones to anyone nearby, I'm embarassed to admit).
