There was a small discussion last Dec in the Churning Amex 2014 thread, and whether or not it matters to create good history with Amex. Well, reading this thread further substantiates why many people, and myself included, believe it IS beneficial to foster a GOOD relationship with Amex. I've been an Amex client for over 15 years, but I only got my first CHARGE card a couple of years ago. Right off the bat, I charged over $6K on the card, no alarms went off.
