I've used a 4.5-lb, 15" MacBook Pro and have since downsized to a 3-lb, 13" Sony Vaio. The Vaio is much nicer to travel with. Unfortunately sludge builds up (it's my business machine that I've been using about 3 years) and so I need to replace it soon. Not sure what I'll get, as I'm kind of spoiled.
