Excuse to change paid Delta flight to a day earlier with no charge?
Hi all,

I have an economy delta flight from SEA-HKG next month. My initial departure day falls on a Monday but i can leave the day before(Sunday) so that I get an extra day in HKG.

A few days ago, Delta sent me an email regarding a flight time change. The flight change from SEA-HKG is a difference of only 15mins earlier and the return flight from HKG-SEA is a difference of 1hr 5mins later.

I'm trying to build a reason/excuse to ask Delta if they can change my flight date to the Sunday(day early) without being charge a fee. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Note: When I booked the ticket(last year), I was a silver medallion member...but as of now, i have no status.
