@Erasmus, I thought I'd maybe read the same thing (regarding all pax being in same party being exception the rule) but maybe not. I've been second guessing myself about this. We have 5 flights, none in wide body jets (all 3-3 in coach), and for 3 of 5, we are all three seated together.

She's 26 months, still RF in car, but we will FF on the plane because the seat takes up so much space. We always put the infant seat in RF though. Great until she learned to open the seat belt buckle, I guess she was paying attention during the safety video. LOL
