NEXUS did, but it didn't have to be inspected (read, for hidden compartments to move drugs or people, thanks to paranoia and bad policy) as with SENTRI. Indeed, you could add and subtract cars and do it by calling a local enrollment center, in case you had a rental. Stopped around the end of 2009.
