If your AF segments are intra-schengen flights, and they are booked in Economy, you will not be able to select seats. AF does not allow seat selection on their Europe / Medium haul flights until T-30.

No need to get the booking code for AF. You can enter Delta's booking code on AF or KLM and it will show the flights and allow seat assignments, provided that the flight is longhaul.

And before 10+ FTers who never had their seats to stick prior to 2011 come and say that "Seats on AF never stick", Yes, since 2012, under normal circumstances, they do.
