So I will be flying SEA-LAX-IAD witht he first segment on Alaska and the second on AA and this was booked on aa.com. I'm CP on US and have no status on AA at this point. If I credit it to AA, I won't even be able to get MCE, let alone a shot at the Transcon upgrade. If put in my US number, I won't get EQM for the first three hour flight. Is there a way to add my AA FF Number for the first leg after the trip is over? Since the mileage balances will merge anyways, that seems like a decent option.
