These two are the "have to have" cards for the bonuses, nothing else comes even close. Both bonuses active as of now, will likely disappear very soon (any day now). 100k AA miles practically for free, and for the only airline whose miles worth something anymore.
I don't understand why there's so much hype about the US Airways 50k miles card. The AA executive elite Mastercard recently offered 100k miles. I would call "that" a really sweet deal. It came with a $450 fee but you could always cancel the card and get the fee refunded back.

The 50k miles US Airways card doesn't even refund/waive the fee for the first year.

In order to get 100k miles, you would need to apply for two cards now. It comes with two hard pulls and greater impact on your AAoA.

Am I missing something here?
