Did you book by phone or on the website?
If you booked by phone, it may take some time before the ticket is issued. Until then, you won't get an e-ticket receipt (because there is no ticket).
In either case, you can check by taking your booking reference to
classic.checkmytrip.com and calling up your booking. Is there an e-ticket number listed there? If so, what happens if you click on the "e-ticket receipt" tab? What do you see there?
