I'd cancel and rebook if you can. Or call and get them to change the reservation to Guest of Honor.
For the booking I made, it doesn't show up in my future reservations but the points have been pulled. I was sent an email that I forwarded to my daughter with all of the details. On the email under preferences, it states:
Preferences: GUEST OF HONOR

My daughter will be staying 11-12 March so I'll try to follow up on this thread as to how it went.
