I feel bad about what I did in 1977. I was a freshman in college and walked by the campus bookstore, the door was left unlocked, I and some friends, grabbed a few records. I still feel bad about our behavior, but hey, Boston's "More than A Feeling" and a few other things that began with A,B, or C, and we were out of there. If I had stopped at the counter, offered my credit card, paid, gotten my purchase put in a bag, and thanked for "stopping by", I would be fine with that transaction. I was a thief in that instance.

That wasn't the way it happened when buying these tickets, United was standing behind the register, took my money, thanked me for my purchase, showed me the door, and said "have a nice day". Don't compare the two. "Here's my money, Here's what I want, do you want to close this deal or not?" If you want to think about it for a while, do so and let me know. United took a while to think, saying that it may take up to an hour to "decide". They decided before taking my money and now the the deal is done. It wasn't an instantaneous transaction, United advised my that it may take a while to finalize. I waited until my ticket was confirmed, I'm not sure what is left to discuss.
