Headed down to Puerto Rico in a week and a half for a little R&R. I have the amex platnium w/ priority pass so am allowed into either lounge. Wife likes to arrive early so i'm sure we will still have a solid hour to chill in the lounge.

Which lounge would you choose? My wife would either use her DL Amex to get into the skyclub for $25 or we'd pay $50 for her to be my guest at wingtips. Or are both lounges equally bad that the money would be better spent at a bar/restaurant in the terminal? I've never been to the skyclub at JFK but have read its a little better than other airports.

Given that it'll be an early evening flight I fully expect we will be looking to enjoy some adult beverages so am leaning towards Wingtips solely for the better drink selection. 2 cocktails each would easily cost $50 in the terminal.
