The Thai omelet (Kai Tcheeow, with pork, moo saap) is really more of an accompaniment with a traditional family style dinner; often paired with Tom Yum Goong, than a stand-alone breakfast dish.

Still haven't acquired the taste for porrdge (and probably never will).
The reason I eat it for breakfast, and the reason I suggested it, is that eggs are traditional western morning meal, and while somewhat greasy, Thai omelet is delicious
