How can I change a phone number on a credit card fraud alert

I was a victim of credit card fraud almost four years ago. Fortunately I wasn't out anything in the end other than a lot of aggravation and a lot of time. I was advised to put a fraud alert on all my credit reports.

Today I called Citi to request a Citi visa be switched to another type of Citi visa. Despite having answered my citi security question she stated there was an alert on my report and I wasn't calling from the number they had on file and I was calling from my cell number I've had for over ten years.

I was finally able to figure out they had an office number which I had at the time this happened as my phone number and no clue as to why they would have that number as the preferred number. She said I needed to contact the credit bureaus to have this changed. I have applied for credit cards before and they ALWAYS call my cell phone number when I apply online and ask a few questions. I have no access to that office number any longer and haven't for over a year.

How can I get this changed? I tried googling quite a few things and the results always come back with pages of links to sell me credit card fraud products.

If someone has a direct link to change this I would appreciate it.
