Just found YX BOS-LAX RT on travelocity..only $200.50, can't be too creative with YX w.r.t. adding extra cities, but that is still darn cheap to fly cross-country on them. If i remember right you can still get NW miles with them?? (Correct me if I am wrong) Anyway, available dates are sparse over the summer but it opens up in September and early Oct.
