Strange question here, but couldn't find the answer in any searches I did.

I am an MVPG, which gets me 2 checked bag waivers when flying on AA (or AA Eagle).

I have an upcoming AA reservation, where the first segment is on Westjet. The second segment is a trans-border flight on AA Eagle (YYZ-LGA), and as a result Westjet will default to AA Eagle for their baggage policy. Ticket stock is 001 (AA).

Will I get my 2 checked bags waived? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
