Hey, while keep refreshing this thread for the last days waiting for news.. a question crossed my mind again and again. We still don't know how many tickets have been issued. The news about this issue spread like fire in social media all over the world. The number 17k tickets is allways quoted. Where does it come from?

What i can tell from my position: This thread started 10:30 GMT and between 13:00 GMT and 15:00 GMT about 17k tickets have been issued since UA uses consecutive numbers... don't they?
Not all of them have been "glitchy" ones.. but i think the number of tickets might be a lot higher than we think.

So what about the idea of investigating the timestamps of our bookings together with the ticket nr.?

I am totally aware of the fact that the timestamps may not match.. it takes some time to process the tickets. And there are also the tickets purchased not using this so called "glitch".
But don't you think it should be possible to deal with it?
Is it worth to take the effort?
