In the end it is important to get there so I have switched to the direct flight in Y. Now I will hope that some of the others in the MCE seats get their upgrades so I can have better seat options. Right now the best choice is the middle seat in row 11 (which I think is slightly favorable to 20A which is also available). I will be looking to see if 11A or B opens as well (AA blocks them and I don't know if/when they get released). If you have to be in Y on a 763, for me 11 A or B is about as good as it can get.
I think I will at least try for some ORC for the trip since I will not get the WT+ extra 25%.
