You who think UA has a massive opportunity for advertisement. Grow Up! You do realize the product is so far sub-standard, that they really REALLY do NOT want to have people all over forums reviewing it?

The only reason Global First exists, is that the over-entitled corporate account flyers can get upgraded there, to make them feel good about themselves. And to keep them posting in threads like these.
No-one in their right mind would ever book it with money.

So no - United does NOT want that publicity.

The other problem they will face is the profit/RASK numbers if they honor these tickets.

I hope DOT has the balls to punish UA for their abysmal IT. This is a good chance to show they need to finally do something about it, instead of just trusting DOT has their back when they mess up, again.

Good way to punish them would be to let the legit people travel on these bookings.
