Amex Platinum card - status of Priority Pass when cancelling
I called Amex this week to cancel my Platinum card. One of the features of the card is a Priority Pass. I have one of these, which is valid until December 2016.
The chap at Amex said that he had to cancel the Priority Pass as part of the Platinum card cancellation process. Perhaps naively I assumed that the Priority Pass would stay active until it expired.
Does anyone have any experience of this please to clarify the situation? I don't think the Cathay gold card I have as part of the Platinum card is cancelled.
