The employer should appeal. They may reject it again. Chances are 50/50.
MOM wont give any reason why they reject. Like that, lah.

My guess is that you are young and that you dont have enough experience to qualify for an EP. But as some mentioned above, MOM wants to cut the inflow of foreigners, so it could be just that.
