that's a great fare--i just bought one going the other way in june (21-22).

you'd actually get more miles just doing IAH-DFW-BOS. DFW-BOS is longer than IAH-ATL+ATL-EWR, and BOS-DFW is a *great* flight for upgrades, at 4+ hours for 2 MSUs (1561 miles).
