I've read great things about the Atrium suite and picked that option. However, I learned that this type of room is only available on the lowest floors of the property.

Is it worth giving up Atrium suite for a high floor Regency suite, for the views?

As a diamond member, what are the chances the hotel will further upgrade me upon check-in to another suite?

Another consideration is to go with alternate Hyatt in Tokyo altogether. Are the others worth the increase in points/cash? Is there a great use of DSU at the GH or Andaz?
1. There are no suites on higher floors at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo. All suites are on floors 6 through 9.

2. Odds of getting upgraded to a higher grade of suite are non-zero, but very small. It has never happened to me. Don't count on it.

3. DSU cannot be used at Andaz. DSU at GH is very nice, but twice the price of the HR. DSU at PH are very nice, but the base rooms are likely at least twice the costof that of the HR.
