Hey everyone,

I'm new to the Flyertalk forum and so I need any and all help that I can get. So, I'm supposed to be headed to Sydney next month via Abu Dhabi and I've got a 2 hour and 15 minute window in which to change planes. I've never flown through Abu Dhabi before. I know that they have a small airport but I don't know what to expect because I've never flown through there before.

There's a few questions I've got which I'm hoping I can get answers to just so that I can feel better prepared.

Both my flights go through terminal 3 so when I get off the plane, do I have to clear immigration or passport control or go through any additional layers of security as I'm making my way towards my connecting gate?

Since I'm only in the UAE for a very short time and will not be leaving the airport, do I need to acquire any kind of temporary documentation?

I also looked at terminal 3's map and saw that it only has 8 gates. Where would I have to go if my connecting flight boards and departs away from the terminal?
