I am new to the board, however I have been reading it for years. Thank you for all the information.

I am planning to purchase a ticket from YQB to IST via YYZ on Air Canada at the end of July. The fare will be ether Tango or Flex, I cannot afford anything higher.

I may have to move to Toronto aka YYZ before the month of July. Is it possible to cancel the YQB to YYZ segment of the flight and does anyone have an idea how much it would cost? Am I better of purchasing a Turkish Airlines or Air Canada flight from YYZ and then booking later on an other ticket for the YQB to YYZ part. I have called Air Canada Reservations twice and I got different answers. I was wondering if someone has ever experienced this problem and could help me.
