Just to throw a different spin on things, I have a course in MUC that the company is sending me to. Alas, policy is cheapest flight, so I with some working of dates I was able to get a flight on BA, but in WT. Booked a weekend stopover in London (and saved $350 by having the Saturday night stay).

My partner is coming over for the weekend and we're spending the weekend together. I booked him in WTP and he said that I should take the seat in WTP on the way home and he'd take the WT seat, since I'm taller.

I'm hoping for an AUP on the way home, as I can't upgrade my WT seat due to it being a travel agent booking through corporate Amex.
